The FitMe Story

Dr. Lavingia states that he traveled from the UK to the USA for work every month. On one of his trips, he purchased clothes for his wife. On returning to the UK, his wife found that the clothes did not fit her. So, on his next trip, he bought more clothes with different sizes but of a different brand. Once again, those clothes did not fit her. Both of them wondered why the clothes of different sizes did not fit her. Since then, they have carried out a small-scale market research and they also spoke to more than 100 men and women across different continents (UK, USA, India, and Australia). They found that close to 100% of the people surveyed were not sure of their clothes sizes across different brands and lacked confidence in ordering clothes online. Since then, they have been working on creating this app for everyday consumers to empower their lives and to improve their shopping experience.

About FitMe

We believe in the power of technology to change the fashion industry.

We are passionate about solving the problems of the fashion industry with cutting-edge technology, including computer vision, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

We are also passionate to minimize the carbon footprint of the fashion industry using the latest technology and minimizing the rate or returns at the outset.

You're probably thinking: "We love the idea, but how do you know it will work?"

Well, we've been developing this app for over a year and have already successfully used it to scan many women. We've scanned women across all ages, body sizes and races. The results have been always accurate — and now we're ready to bring it to life.

Our app scans your body and creates an accurate 3D model. This 3D model also provides body measurements. Our app would use these body measurements and provide you suggestions of garments that would fit your body size.

This would provide you greater confidence in shopping garments whilst providing the retailers/brands assurance of minimizing the rate of returns.
